THE LINE-UP has been announced for Taunton's annual festival of talented tribute acts imitating music legends.

Taunton Fake Festival will return to Longrun Meadow on Saturday July 27 at 11am.

Friends and family in attendance will be treated to over twelve hours of tribute band excellence, with the event set to continue into the night until 11:45pm.

A spokesperson for the event said: "Taunton - “ARE YOU READY TO ROCK”!?

"Of course you are - you guys need absolutely no encouragement, you’ve sold out every single Fake-Fest we’ve thrown at ya!

"And no need to say how incredible you were last summer, ‘cause you always deliver, and it’s your party-rocking A-game that makes you guys our number one crowd!

"We’re so inspired to go extra and bring you our most awesome Fake Bands, perfectly paired with your buzzy jumpin’ and vibing vocals.

"We reckon we’ve nailed it this year and we seriously cannot wait to rock Longrun Meadow with y’all! Grab your tix early, this one always sells-out."

Bowie tribute Aladdinsane will kick off the proceedings at 12:45pm, then followed by Alanis Morisette tribute Alanish at 2:30pm.

Later in the afternoon, performances from Stereotonics, Really Hot Chili Peppers, and Fore Fighters will have attendants in high spirits and ready for the day's headline act.

Oasis tribute band "Oasish" will rock the stage from 9:45pm to put an emphatic end to the festival's proceedings.
