YOUNGSTERS from Yeovil Town's Centre of Excellence will be going on tour this summer with fixtures against Premier League opposition in the shape of West Bromwich Albion, Aston Villa, Everton and Liverpool.

The centre has just completed its first year and has received the full backing of the FA and Football League to operate with an official licence.

Centre manager Mo Hopkins has said that trials for next season are approaching and taking place on the "top pitch" at Huish Park.

The dates are as follows: May 19 - under-13s at 5.30pm; May 20 - under-12s at 5.30pm; May 22 - under-11s at 5.30pm; May 23 - under-14s at 5.30pm; May 27 - under-10s at 5.30pm; May 28 - under-9s at 5.30pm; May 29 - under-8s at 5.30pm; May 30 - under-8s at 5.30pm.

Trials for the under-15s will take place at the "top pitch" at Huish Park on Saturday, May 31, from 12noon.

Hopkins added: "Anyone wishing to attend must have previously contacted the club in writing, and received an invitation to attend.

"If anyone is unsure of the information which we require please don't hesitate to look on the official club website for guidance."
