AN 80-YEAR-OLD vintage car is ready to hit the road - after its second ever MOT.
Stephen Johns bought the 1928 Lanchester, which had only two previous owners, from the Exmoor Classic Cars Museum at Doverhay Garage in Porlock.
He said: "I put it through its MOT and it passed apart from the tail pipe, which I will fix and then it will pass and be on the road.
"I'm not going to restore it - I'm going to keep the car as it is apart from renewing the hood, which is made of leather."
Stephen will display the car at the museum and make the most of it once it has gone through its MOT.
He added: "I shall be driving it around Porlock - so keep an eye out for me - although I probably won't be taking it up Porlock Hill!"
