Yeovil Town's sponsors are thanked
Commercial manager Dave Linney
Commercial manager Dave Linney

YEOVIL Town's commercial manager Dave Linney has said he would like to thank all of the club's sponsors for their support throughout the 2007-08 season in the Coca-Cola League One.

Mr Linney said that this time last year, the club was going to marketing overdrive with the Glovers having reached the play-offs and, in due course, were Wembley-bound.

"What a difference a year makes," he said. "But that's football for you I guess.

"From my commercial prospective I would like to thank all our partners for their support over the past season in League One.

"Special thanks go to our main sponsor Bradfords Building Supplies and, in particular, I would like to thank managing director Dennis Smith and sales and marketing director Mike Tidmarsh.

"Thanks also to Dave Jones, of Jones Building Contractors, for the sponsorship of our youth team, and also to David Mills, from the Quedam Shopping Centre, who sponsor our ladies team."

And Mr Linney added: "It has been quite a demanding season for everyone concerned and I would like to pay tribute to all our sponsors, advertisers and all of the Yeovil Town fans for their valued and loyal support of this great club."
