Chelsea garden sneak preview
A GARDEN to be exhibited at Chelsea Flower Show later this month is going on show at a garden centre near Wellington from today.
The garden can be previewed at Blackdown Garden Centre today, tomorrow and Sunday before its launch at the Chelsea show, which runs from May 20-24.
South-West based horticulturist Jon Wheatley has teamed up with Viridor Waste Management's Revive soil conditioner and Blackdown Garden Centre for his exhibit, enititled Signs of the Times.
Jon's garden represents his commitment to use recycled materials.
The garden focuses on traditional English
planting and aims to identify how gardens may look in the future with the impending climate and weather changes.
Jon said: "If you can't make it to Chelsea, come and view the garden at the preview day at the Blackdown Garden Centre.
"Experts will be on-hand to answer all your gardening and plant questions and there will be demonstrations as well as activities for kids."
